Family Treatment

Introduction to Family Treatment

Family Treatment is one of Family Resource Center’s original programs serving children, parents and families. We provide individual and family therapy as well as parent education to clients with a variety of presenting issues.

Children, families and individuals who have experienced abuse/neglect or those who are struggling with challenges such as behavioral difficulties, parent-child conflict, domestic violence, grief, depression and various other concerns can receive therapeutic and educational interventions. Many of the treatments used place an emphasis on evidence-based practices by trained licensed professional counselors, licensed clinical social workers and master level professionals.

Family Treatment staff draws on individual and family strengths in collaboration with parents, individuals and other community resources. It is important for the client and therapist to create goals through making an individualized service plan.

We value diversity and clients should expect to receive access to services without discrimination with regard to race, gender, beliefs, marital status, nationality, disability, age or sexual orientation.
