Family Resource Center Privacy Policy

Our Commitment To Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

The Information We Collect:
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Family Resource Center website. On some pages, you can make donations, sign up for events, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages can include:

First and Last Name
Address/City/State/ZIP
Email address
Phone number (Home and Work)
Credit/Debit Card Information

On some pages, you can submit information about other people. For example, if your company matches your donation or you submit a donation in honor of another person, we will ask for this basic information:

First and Last Name of the person being honored
Company/Employer Name

The Way We Use Information:
We will use the information you provide about yourself when placing a donation or signing up for an event online to complete that order. We will also list your name in our quarterly newsletter and annual report unless you use the provided checkbox to remain anonymous.

When you are placing a donation in honor or memory of another person, we will list that person's name in our quarterly newsletter and annual report, unless you use the provided checkbox to remain anonymous.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our website if you would like to be added to our mailing list. This information will not be shared with any outside party or solicitor. We will never use or share personally identifiable information provided to us online without also providing you with an opportunity to opt-out or to otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online by contacting our development department at 314.534.9350. Your information is stored in a secure database, and only a member of the development department can access and change this data. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.

You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by contacting the development department.

To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Remaining Anonymous
If you do not wish your personal information to be shared outside of the organization, for example, in print or electronic publications, you will be given the opportunity to check a box to remain anonymous. When submitting an online donation, you will electronically select the "I prefer to remain anonymous" box, which will let us know that your information should not be shared. The same process is true when submitting a physical donation. All printed materials give you the option to check a box to remain anonymous. Likewise, you can send a letter along with your donation indicating you do not want us to share your information.

Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
