Parently Wisely

Program Overview
Parenting Wisely is a proven, effective training program for parents with children ages 3-18.  This program was designed to help parents better understand their children and develop the skills they need to be stronger parents. 

Parenting Wisely has been recognized as a “Model Program” by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and an “Exemplary Program” by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).

• Increases parental knowledge and use of good parenting skills

• Improves child's school performance
• Proven to significanly reduce child and adolescent behavior problems

Features of the Program
• Can be completed in as little as 2-3 hours for individuals; groups 6-10 hours
• Facilitated by experienced Parent Educators
• Highly interactive with real-life video enactments of common behavioral problems
• Offered in individual or group sessions.  
• Parenting Wisely also has an interactive, computer-based training.
