Therapeutic Preschool/Day Treatment Program

Program Overview
Therapeutic preschool for children ages three to five years old residing in the City of St. Louis who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral problems. This program provides structure, stability, nurturance and behavior management in a therapeutic environment to ensure that children are ready to begin kindergarten with success.

Helps children learn healthy problem solving skills
Teaches new ways of coping with feelings and emotions
Helps children learn preschool and kindergarten readiness skills
Specialized care with trained therapists
Support to obtain consideration for IEP or 504 educational plan
Transportation provided within St. Louis City limits
Daily program, Monday through Friday, 9am - 1pm
Breakfast and lunch provided

Eligibility
The Therapeutic Preschool/Day Treatment Program is designed for childen who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, and developmental problems and meet the following criteria:
Children ages three to five
Resident of St. Louis City
Eligible for MoHealthNet (Medicaid)

The program is funded by the St. Louis Mental Health Board and is free to qualifying children.
