Short-term• Collect toys for the holidays in December
• Collect essential needs for kids and families: Diapers, clothes and furniture
• Prepare overnight kits for kids coming into foster care
• Hold a Fund-Raiser
• Assist with building/grounds upkeep at FRC
• Sponsor a party for kids
• Donate supplies/equipment
On-going
• Call Clients to remind of appointments
• Help with fundraising mailings
• Be a Mentor for a single parent or child
• Volunteer to help with a “Night Out” for foster parents
• Gala, Golf, or Trivia event volunteers
• Part-time volunteer receptionist
• Read Stories to children in our Day Treatment Program
• Help with filing
• Donate Taxi fares or bus tickets
• Junior Advocacy Board
• Speakers Bureau
• Become a Foster Parent
Crisis/emergency• Sit with children waiting to go to a foster home
• Provide clothes/food/furniture/diapers to a family in crisis
