The Family Support Council often provides technical assistance to organizations to assist them in building their capacity to serve families more effectively. Technical assistance is discrete, time-limited, goal-oriented consultation that can facilitate change and collaboration within an organization. Through technical assistance, organizations are able to restructure their service delivery system to better meet the needs and build the capacities of the children and families being served. This service might include providing information, training, or some other form of assistance.
