Programs & Services  

Family Resource Center (FRC) offers a continuum of family-centered services designed to heal, empower and build upon each family’s natural strengths. We also provide practical problem-solving assistance to alleviate the many triggers of abuse and neglect, including economic, psychological, and “inherited” behavioral factors.

Family Reunification
Family counseling, crisis intervention, and resource coordination, provided to select families whose children are in out-of-home care, with the goal of returning the children to their families.

Family Treatment Program
Individual and family therapy for children and adults, provided in-home or in-office. Support and guidance on parenting issues, parenting education, and help with obtaining needed resources.

Foster Care & Adoptive Services
Case management and in-home support services provided to children residing in foster care, their foster families, and their biological families. Recruitment, training, and assessment of adoptive and foster parents.

Intensive In-Home Services
Family preservation counseling, crisis intervention, and resource coordination, provided to select families whose children are at imminent risk of being placed in foster care.

Mentoring
Job readiness counseling, case management, job placement, and job site mentoring for disadvantaged youth. Trained volunteer mentors for pregnant and parenting teens.

Therapeutic Preschool
Intensive day treatment for young children experiencing emotional and behavioral problems, with specialized treatment for victims of child abuse and neglect. Highly structured therapeutic approach based on early childhood education, child play therapy, and behavior reinforcement.

Family Support Council
Consultation and training for social service professionals and organizations to build their capacity to provide family and child support services most effective.

Parents Anonymous®
A nationally-recognized model to help nurture confident, effective parents. Support groups co-led by parents and trained facilitators.
