Foster Parenting

Becoming a foster parent is an opportunity to give back to your community and make a difference in the life of a child. Family foster care offers many children and their families an opportunity to heal, grow and develop, and learn safe, nurturing ways of being a family.

Children who need family foster care services may have experienced neglect and/or abuse, homelessness, or chemical dependency, or they may have special medical circumstances. As a result, the children, like their parents, have a range of special and sometimes extraordinary needs.

Is it right for you?
After the application, training and discovery process, potential foster families will have the knowledge and skills to make an informed descision about becoming foster parents.
